Wonderful experiences are sometimes complex, though often not obviously.
Take for example satisfying a craving. Sometimes merely unwrapping a bar of dark chocolate containing bits of hazelnut is adequate, however doing so with your partner and a good Bordeaux takes it to the next level — and doing so while on holiday in your hotel room could further level up the experience.
Sometimes we humans like to shape our experiences, for example the aforementioned craving. Other times we’re willing to put ourselves in the hands of others, for example an accomplished chef at a venue where the architectural and music vibes transport us to a place we just couldn’t reach ordering take away.
There’s a high correlation between feeling good and how we transport ourselves higher, which is interesting because we each control our dining decisions probably on the order of something like 100 times per month!
Sometimes it’s just a snack at home or some protein after the gym, stopping for a coffee with a friend, dinner and a night out, ordering in for lunch or a meeting, toasting a bagel or croissant for breakfast with cheese and/or jam, grabbing a slice after a night out before hitting the hay —every one of these experiences is an opportunity for each of us to configure aromas, tastes, textures and vibes to improve our mental and physical well-being.
Practice, practice, practice!
Members of The Eating Club are laser-focused on the fact well-being’s a function of our history of experiences and that we control many of these more than 100x per month. Our friends and partners are like minded which is why we invite them and they invite us to dine out, and at our homes.
The venues we love to patronize appreciate us because we’re grateful for the experiences they create for us and mindful of the fact our relationship is mutually aligned: by helping their businesses thrive we’re ensuring our own well-being. Same for these venues’ workers —as they prepare our meals with great ingredients, serve and clean up after us, DJ our music, and everything else, we all understand the ecosystem is beneficial to us all.
Everything’s ultimately a shared experience, let’s make the most of it together. Please let your fav venues and friends know to get on the membership invites list by either messaging them the link to this post or by telling them to check out TheEatingClub.com
